The challenges in the automotive industry

Short cycle times, high cost pressure and growing variant diversity meet supply chains in which a single delay can stop entire assembly lines.

Precisely timed delivery

Just-in-time and just-in-sequence leave no room for error. Shortages or late deliveries stop the line.

Traceability and recalls

Batches and components must be traceable to the vehicle to handle recalls quickly and precisely.

Variant diversity

Configurations, bills of materials and changes keep growing. Without consistent data, errors and costs rise.

Complex warehouses and intralogistics

High volumes, conveyor systems and automated warehouses need control that keeps pace with production.
